Welcome to my first blog! You may be wondering, "Who is this Dan guy, and why do I care about his deep dives?"
Well, I consider myself a massive nerd who enjoys participating in sports, watching movies, and traveling all over the world. I have lots of insights and fun ideas about a wide variety of topics, which I'll be posting regularly. My goal is to create a community where we can discuss and share ideas in a safe and constructive space. Here's a bit more about the topics that I'll be covering:
TRAVELING
Traveling is something I'm deeply passionate about. I'll be regularly featuring locations in the United States, as well as international, that I've personally visited. I'll be sure to add personal stories, photography, and tips about each location.
ENTERTAINMENT
I watch a lot of movies throughout the year so I'll be doing in depth movie reviews here often. I'll also be commenting on the various awards shows. I'm a huge Marvel and Star Wars fan, so be on the look out for deep dives into those franchises as well.
SPORTS
I'm from the south suburbs of Chicago so I'll be discussing a lot of news from the local teams in all sports, but I'll also stay up on everything happening nationally. 2020 also happens to be an Olympic year, so I'll have thoughts on the Summer Olympics as well. My day job focuses quite a lot on the sports scene, so I'll definitely have some insights regarding injuries from time to time.
MUSIC
I love music and I'll listen to almost anything. I'll be reviewing some albums that I've listened to a thousand times as well as some that will be my first time hearing them. There will also be commentary from the various awards shows throughout the year. I'll try to get to some concerts too so you'll be getting my reactions to those.
